Classroom Management Strategies:

Some Considerations:
  • Set rules/guidelnes for use of laptops
  • Designate "Think Time" or "Lids Down" time when students must direct their attention to the teacher or facilitator
  • Be prepared for things to go wrong
  • Plan ahead for re-charging batteries -- have powerleads/boards available
  • Ask students to save files in a specific directory
  • Integrate laptops slowly and build a routine
